About Maya Mohan, Mezzo-Soprano
With over 15 years of teaching experience Maya has worked with students ranging from beginners to professional singer/songwriters and actors. Students of all abilities are welcome and lessons are taught in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.
Maya Mohan holds a Masters of Music in Voice Performance & Pedagogy (M.Mus.) from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Drama & Communications Studies (B.A.) as well as a Bachelor of Musical Arts in voice (B.M.A.) from the University of Windsor.
Maya has performed as Tisbe in the Opera RoadShow production of Cinderella en Route. Most recently, Maya has performed with Oakville Improv Theatre Company.
Lessons
Maya’s home studio is located in the Clair and Gordon area in Guelph, Ontario. Easily accessible by car and public transit.
